I am NOT suggesting ANYTHING!

.

But they... would make a nice couple... wouldn't they...
("would", not "do" please mark the difference... as small as it may be in this case)

Anyways... this is about as far as i will go in this direction... so no need to be afraid or get any false hopes.
I just thought it would be a nice picture and in my opinion it turned out quite well...

As always characters and show belong to Hasbro and Lauren Faust.

I love the way you style the hair, I do something quite similar but can't get it to flow as well as yours

Well first of all thank you :3
As for this way of drawing the hair... i kinda abandoned it, at least for a while, because i don't find it... well... that great at the moment. Buf if you want to draw roughly in this kind of style, here's a litte... well... hint or something along those lines...
Try starting with the darkest color in the pallet you use for the hair and make a solid base, then gradually work your way up to the lighter colors in small steps, using a thinner brush everytime you change the color. Also try to make your brush strokes as long and fluid as possible if you want to make longer hair flow smoothly. If the individual lines are too short, it will end up looking quite... fuzzy.

Thanks, that helps :) I think I see my problem now. I started with short strokes in a mid-tone, and darkened and lightened as appropriate. Evidently your way works better haha :D

If you come up with a better way you'll have to let me know, I've been muddling about with hair styling ideas, but they never seem to look good when I draw them.
